Is the price you see the price you pay?
Yes. We strive to make our website as easy to use and transparent as possible. All prices include VAT and delivery to your home via Interlink express.
Do all the prices on your website include VAT?
YES. All the prices on our website include VAT at prevailing rates. (currently 20%).
In the case of riser recliners, the price displayed includes VAT. If you qualify for Zero Rated VAT, a Zero Rated Vat form can be supplied via post or can be downloaded from our website or emailed to you.
Do I qualify for VAT Exemption?
You DO NOT need to be registered disabled to qualify for Zero Rated VAT.

How long is delivery on my new recliner?
We carry a stock of over 1000 recliners (All of these can be viewed and purchased on our website). If you order any recliner from stock before 1pm, delivery can be made the following day to the UK mainland. (Some Scottish postcode take 48 Hour Delivery - Contact us for details).
Whilst every practical effort will be made to accommodate customer’s requirements no exact delivery time can be given, but tracking numbers can be supplied to help track your delivery.
Although we carry a vast range of recliners in stock, other colours and combinations are available as special orders from the suppliers and manufacturers. If you place a special order we ask you to be aware that delivery dates and times are not definite and are approximate. A 20% deposit of the total order amount is required to reserve an item.
What delivery service do you offer on Recliners ?
FREE To Your Home Delivery (Via Interlink Express) is offered as standard on all chairs:
Please Note: We offer FREE delivery to the outside of the property. This does not include setup.
We use very reliable and professional carriers, however they are not insured to enter you property. It will be up to you (The Customer) to make sure that you have the capability and access to accept the delivery yourself.
All of our box(es) require a signature.
PLEASE BE AWARE: Many of the recliners are heavy items, and we would strongly recommend that 2 people remove the recliner from the box(es).
Some of the recliners require minimal assembly, (ie, The back may need attaching).
This is done to aid in transportation and entry to a property.
PLEASE advise us pre-delivery if you live in high rise flats, or the access to your property is restricted, i.e. narrow doorways or restricted access, so as to assess the number of delivery staff required.

UK - Non Mainland (N. Ireland, R. Ireland, Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Channel Isles etc) - YES
(£75. This is a 2 day service, dependant on the weather; i.e. the ferry can cross. This is a doorstep delivery service only).
Can I track my order?
When you place your order we will give you a reference number which is specific to your order. We will give you an approximate delivery date. As soon as we know your order is due to reach us, we will contact you to arrange delivery.
Once your order has been arranged for delivery, we will ring you with your recliner’s tracking number so you can check the progress of your delivery from our warehouse to your home.

*Please note: For FREE Next Working Day Delivery orders must be placed before 3.00pm. Orders placed on Weekends and Bank Holidays will only be dispatched on the Next Available Working Day. We use a one man carrier service who will deliver free to the outside of your property. In some cases with the heavier boxes the carrier may need help off the van. Please ensure someone is on hand to assist the driver. Occasionally with our larger chairs, the box may not fit through a standard doorway so additional assistance is recommended. All deliveries require a signature. |
What if my new recliner is not suitable for me or I just don't like it?
If you get your recliner and it is not suitable please read below.
If you order a new recliner from our special offer page we offer a 14 day money back guarantee. Because we deliver for free, the customer will have to pay for the box(s) to be returned to us (IN AS NEW CONDITION AND IN ORIGINAL BOX)
If you order a special order (i.e.: Not Stocked) we cannot offer refunds.
You can cancel an order within 14 days of ordering.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Delta, Personal Cheques and Bank or Building Society Cheques (all Cheques must be crossed and made payable to "Recliners Direct") and Bankers Drafts.
You can choose to make your payment online using our Secure Online payment options: Sagepay (previously Protx), PayPal or Google Checkout or you can call us and pay by telephone.
Please Note: A 20% Deposit is required for all orders on chairs not available in stock. Balance to be paid once your item is in stock Pre-delivery.

How will you use my personal details?
All your details are held on a secure database and are protected by the Data Protection Act 1984. Credit Card information is not seen by us at all as the information is processed via a legitimate third party; the only time we have knowledge of your card information is if you order by telephone.
We have a strict policy of keeping all customer information entirely confidential and will never pass your details on to a third party.
