Is the price you see the price you pay?

Yes. We strive to make our website as easy to use and transparent as possible.

All prices include VAT* and delivery to the outside of your home via Interlink Express.

*Our Riser Recliners and Motion Beds are shown Excluding Vat. As these are classed as mobility products most customers with long term disabilities are eligible for Vat Exemption. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

Do all the prices on your website include VAT?

Yes. All the prices on our website include VAT* at prevailing rates
(Currently 20%).

Do I qualify for VAT Exemption?

You do not need to be registered disabled to qualify for Zero Rated VAT.

How long is delivery on my new recliner?

We carry stock of over 1000 recliners (All of these can be viewed and purchased on our website). Recliners we don’t have in our own warehouse and need to be ordered from the manufacturers will have there own individual lead-times on the product pages.

If you order any recliner from our stock before 3pm, delivery can usually be made the following day to the UK mainland. (Some Scottish postcodes may take 2-3 days – Contact Us for details).

Whilst every practical effort will be made to accommodate customer’s requirements no exact delivery time can be given, but tracking numbers can be supplied to help track your delivery.

Although we carry a vast range of recliners in stock, other colours and combinations are available as special orders from the suppliers and manufacturers. If you place a special order we ask you to be aware that delivery dates and times are not definite and are approximate. A 30% deposit of the total order amount is required to reserve an item when ordered over the telephone.

What delivery service do you offer on recliners?

Here at Recliners Direct we offer two different delivery options for you convenience.

  1. Free delivery to the outside of your home is offered as standard on all most recliners. (We use several couriers to deliver our recliners, and the courier chosen will depend on the size and weight of the box or boxes). Please Note: This delivery option is to the outside of the property Only. This does not include setup.
  2. We offer In-home installation via a specialist furniture installation company. Your new recliner is unpacked, assembled and demonstrated. The installation team will also remove all packaging if required. This is available for a small charge of just £75. Installation takes 7-10 Days.

All of our deliveries require a signature.

Please be Aware:

Many of the recliners are heavy items, and we would strongly recommend that 2 people remove the recliner from the box if free delivery is chosen.
Some of the recliners require minimal assembly, (i.e. the back may need attaching). This is done to aid in transportation and entry to your property.

Please carefully consider which delivery option is most suitable to your personal requirements. Delivery options are selected on the check out pages.

Please advise us pre-delivery if you live in high rise flats, or the access to your property is restricted, i.e. narrow doorways or restricted access, we can recommend the best delivery option for your individual circumstances.

Do you deliver to my area?

UK Mainland

Chairs/Sofa’s/Recliners/Chair Beds:- Yes. Some remote postcode incur a small delivery surcharge.

UK – Non Mainland (Isle Of Wight Only) – Yes

(£75. This is a 2 day service, dependant on the weather: i.e. if the ferry can cross. This is a doorstep delivery service only).

Sorry We are unable to deliver the Ireland or Scottish Islands.

Can I track my order?

When you place your order we will give you a reference number which is specific to your order. If you then contact us we will be able to give you an approximate delivery date. As soon as we know your order is due to reach us, we will contact you to arrange delivery.

Once your order has been arranged for delivery, feel free to contact us and we can supply your recliner’s tracking number so you can check the progress of your delivery from our warehouse to your home.

DELIVERY PRICES – QUICK REFERENCE

*Please note: For FREE Next Working Day Delivery orders must be placed before 3.00pm. Orders placed on Weekends and Bank Holidays will only be dispatched on the Next Available Working Day. We use a one man carrier service who will deliver free to the outside of your property. In some cases with the heavier boxes the carrier may need help off the van. Please ensure someone is on hand to assist the driver. Occasionally with our larger chairs, the box may not fit through a standard doorway so additional assistance is recommended. All deliveries require a signature.

What if my new recliner is not suitable for me or I just don't like it?

If you receive your recliner and it is not suitable please read below.

If you order a new recliner from our special offer page we offer a 7 day money back guarantee. As we offer Free Delivery, the customer is responsible for covering the cost of returning the product. We are unable under any circumstance to collect an item that it is not safely and securely repackaged. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the product is well packaged so no damage occurs during the return to our warehouse. We can arrange collection on your behalf. The returns charge is £55 per item. This amount is then deducted from your originally payment. We do not charge a re-stocking fee.

The product(s) must be returned in As New Condition.

If you order a special order (i.e. Not Stocked) we cannot offer refunds. We are unable to collect and refund any product which has been previously tried and tested on our shop floor, or Swivel Chairs that have been partially or fully assembled.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We are able to accept MasterCard, Visa Credit and Visa Debit, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Delta, Personal Cheques and Bank or Building Society Cheques as-well as BAC payments.

(All Cheques must be crossed and made payable to “Mobility Recliners Ltd”)

You can choose to make your payment online using our Secure Online payment options: Sagepay, PayPal or you are welcome to call us as we are happy to process payments securely by telephone.

 

Please Note: A 30% Deposit is required for all orders on items not available from stock. Balances must be paid once your item is in stock Pre-delivery.

How will you use my personal details?

All your details are held on a secure database and are protected by the Data Protection Act 1984. Credit Card information is not seen by us at all as the information is processed via a legitimate third party; the only time we have knowledge of your card information is if you order by telephone.

We have a strict policy of keeping all customer information entirely confidential and will never pass your details on to a third party.

What if I have a complaint?

Any complaints will be dealt with in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. We will acknowledge your complaint within one working day and will seek to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, and hopefully to your complete satisfaction.
