Is the price you see the price you pay?

Yes.  We strive to make our website as easy to use and transparent as possible.  All prices include VAT and delivery to your home via Interlink express.

The Riser Recliners are shown Excluding VAT
If you require in house set-up please see our price reference.

Do all the prices on your website include VAT?

YES. All the prices on our website include VAT at prevailing rates. (currently 17.5%).

Our Riser Recliners/Motion Beds are advertised VAT exempt.
Vat form can be supplied via post or can be downloaded from our website or emailed to you.

Do I qualify for VAT Exemption?

You DO NOT need to be registered disabled to qualify for VAT exemption.

How long is delivery on my new recliner?

We carry a stock of over 150 recliners (Many of these can be viewed on our special offers page). If you order a special offer recliner before 2pm, delivery can be made the following day to the UK mainland. (Some Scottish postcode take 48 Hour Delivery - Contact us for details).

If you require in-house setup, this can take up to 14 working days (*Dependant upon location)

Whilst every practical effort will be made to accommodate customer’s requirements no exact delivery time can be given, but tracking numbers can be supplied to help track your delivery.

If you order a Rise and Recline recliner deliveries are approx 4-6 weeks. E-z-lift recliners take approx 4-6 weeks. Jade fireside chairs take approx 3-4 weeks.

What delivery service do you offer on Recliners ?

FREE  To Your Home Delivery (Via Interlink Express) is offered as standard on all chairs:

Please Note: We offer FREE delivery to the door. This does not include setup.

We use very reliable and professional carriers, however they are not insured to enter you property. It will be up to you (The Customer) to make sure that you have the capability and access to accept the delivery yourself.

All of our box(es) require a signature.

PLEASE BE AWARE: Many of the recliners are heavy items, and we would strongly recommend that 2 people remove the recliner from the box(es).
Some of the recliners require minimal assembly, (ie, The back may need attaching).
This is done to aid in transportation and entry to a property.

We also offer in-house setup on all recliners, riser recliners, motion beds and fireside chairs. The cost of In-house set-up is £69. 
This option can take up to an additional 14 days.
 
This service includes installation of the goods in to the room of your choice.

PLEASE advise us pre-delivery if you live in high rise flats, or the access to your property is restricted, i.e., narrow doorways or restricted access, so as to assess the number of delivery staff required.

What delivery service do you offer on settee or suites?

Delivery of settee’s are priced at only £99.

Delivery is carried out by our own, fully trained & friendly, professional staff.

This service includes delivery, installation, We fill out all the warranties, fully demonstrate and remove all packaging.

Please Note: We do deliver sofas to Devon, Cornwall, (+£50)

Do you deliver to my area?

UK Mainland

Chairs/Recliners/Fireside Chairs/Single Motion Beds  - YES ALL AREAS
 
In-House Delivery & Installation: YES + £69.00 (up to 14 days required)

Sofas - YES all areas excluding Devon, Cornwall (+£50 on top of standard delivery).

UK - Non Mainland (N. Ireland, R. Ireland, Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Channel Isles etc) - YES
         
(£99. This is a 2 day service, dependant on the weather; i.e. the ferry can cross. This is a doorstep delivery service only).

Can I track my order?

When you place your order we will give you a reference number which is specific to your order. We will give you an approximate delivery date. As soon as we know your order is due to reach us, we will contact you to arrange delivery.

Once your order has been arranged for delivery, we will ring you with your recliner’s tracking number so you can check the progress of your delivery from our warehouse to your home.

If your order is due, you can get an order update through one of the following methods.

What if my new recliner is not suitable for me or I just don't like it?

If you get your recliner and it is not suitable please read below.

If you order a new recliner from our special offer page we offer a 7 day money back guarantee. Because we deliver for free, the customer will have to pay for the box(s) to be returned to us (IN AS NEW CONDITION AND IN ORIGINAL BOX)

If you order a special order (i.e.: Not Stocked) we cannot offer refunds.
You can cancel an order within 7 days of ordering.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Delta, Personal Cheques and Bank or Building Society Cheques (all Cheques must be crossed and made payable to "Recliners Direct"), Bankers Drafts and Cash.

Please Note: A 20% Deposit is required for all orders. Balance to be paid once your item is in stock Pre-delivery.

Will you contact me to arrange the delivery?

As many customer purchase from us due to our unparralled customer service we always contact you prior to delivery. This is to make sure that the delivery day is suitable for you. We can deliver on any weekday suitable for you.

We appreciate that many of our customers have very busy lives, and with this in mind we can reserve furniture for you and store it free of charge for 14 days.

Do you have a showroom?

NO. We are an internet only company.
 
We do however have a team off helpful, friendly experienced staff always willing to offer help. We use experienced carriers and some of our sales team are time served upholsterers allowing indepth knowledge of all the world class products we sell. So rest assured you are dealing with a friendly fully qualified team at Recliners Direct.
